Google will post an open call for people to submit their favorite latin-owned businesses via comments on an IG Post.
Google can reach out to the most influential businesses, set them up with attribute and merch, and source content from them.
Chosen businesses can be featured Google’s social page to give them promo, while gaining awareness on the icon.

Businesses give Google BTS content
Places that have registered as Latino-owned on Google will be encouraged to share videos of their business for Google to create a crowd-sourced campaign.
Through this UGC ad we’ll promote the effort in the hopes to get more businesses registered while shining a spotlight on these businesses.
TikTok's city-wide guide to latin-owned
There are tons of TikTok accounts that serve as the WhereWhenWhat of their city. They review restaurants, activities, stores, salons, events etc.
Let’s have these influencers make a guide to latin-owned in their city by reviewing local latin-owned businesses on TikTok.
ARTISTS TO THE STREETS
Google will partner with different Latin artists from different mediums (like lowrider cars, muralists, etc.) to create eye-catching street art celebrating HHM, while featuring the latino-owned icon.
This could leverage AR or utilize QR codes to drive people to additional information about the effort and how to use or register to the icon.
These can also double as grammable spots for passersby to enjoy and take snaps with for social.
OTW TO LATIN-OWNED
Touch Screen Billboards
Let’s utilize digital street billboards to feature latin-owned businesses around walking cities. The hyper-targeted billboards would display a local latin-owned business along with the distance + direction to the business from the billboard. The display would also change to feature multiply businesses. Outside the businesses would be the latin-owned attribute letting users know they’ve arrived. Ex: Feature food trucks at lunch time, coffee shops in the mornings, clothing stores on the weekend, florists for holidays.
HACK THE BUSINESS MECCA
Unveiling Latin attribute at SXSW
During the tech/business portion of SXSW Google will unveil Austin’s Latin/Black businesses to the masses of people (many of which travelled from other places) and are already interested in exploring the city.
These people can also be messengers of the attributes to businesses they work with / interact with in their own cities.
They will also have interactive booths within the convention to help people register then and there.
Google will send swag featuring the icon to registered businesses can show off their latin entrepreneur pride.
Enamel pins, neon signs, shirts, hats, embroidered patches, decals, yard signs, prints.
Cards inside the packaging will encourage people to post content with their merch using the #hashtag to help get other businesses involved.
